Ruben College of Education, Thadikkarankonam is the brain child of Dr.M.Ruben (Founder Chairman). The College is under the guidance of Ruben Educational & Charitable Trust. Our College presently have courses – BEd (From 2005),MEd (From 2008) and MPhil (From 2015).

Our College was established in 2005 with the approval of Government of Tamilnadu and National Council of Teacher Education, Southern Regional Office -23.11.2005. College was first affiliated to Manonmaniam Sundarnar University, Tirunelveli. At present College is affiliated to Tamilnadu Teachers Education University, Chennai. From 2013 our College was accredited by NAAC with ‘B’ Grade.

Our College has the motive and essence to impart high quality of higher education to student teachers and educators as such, to bring out their hidden talents, emphases moral values to mould future generation, to introduce and propagate innovative & skillful technology based education, to promote Universal acceptance and bright future to all our stakeholders.

Our College is surrounded by green hills of eastern and western ghats. College is located about 18 Kms from Nagercoil. Dames like Pechiparai, Perunchani, Mukkadai, Chittar; waterfalls like Ulakkai, Kalikesam, Thripparappu; architecture like Mathur Aquaduct, Padmanabhapuram Palace and Cape Comerin are the nearby significant places to visit and the Climatic conditions of Ercaud can be experienced at Thadikkarankonam.

Our College has an unique architectural view with all the infrastructural and academic facilities to cater quality education. We have fully secured separate hostels for men and women.

We are very proud of our achievements- about 100% result every year in University Exams, rank holders, quality based research works, efficient and effective Co-curricular and Social works with the coordination of all our stakeholders.
